Zahyo sends your device's GPS location to your own camera over a direct Bluetooth Low Energy connection, so your photos are geotagged by the camera. That is the app's only purpose.
Nothing. Zahyo has no account system, no analytics, and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party.
Zahyo reads your device location and sends it only to the camera you have paired with, over a direct Bluetooth link. Your location is never sent to us or to any third party, and is not retained by the app beyond what is needed to send the current position to the camera.
Zahyo requests "Always" location access so it can keep geotagging while the app is in the background and your phone is locked or in your pocket.
The main screen shows a small map of where you currently are. That map is drawn with Apple's MapKit, which requests map imagery from Apple for the area around you. Apple, not Zahyo, handles those requests; see Apple's own privacy policy for how it treats them. Apple states that MapKit does not associate this data with your Apple Account. No other part of your location leaves the device.
Zahyo uses Bluetooth solely to discover and connect to your camera.
